All professionals who are involved in Real Estate Canada could now use the great power of the social media to their advantage. Whether offering Homes for Sale or handling Real Estate Listings, the realtorstrained by Galaxy Gate know that they should use all modern tools available in order to present their properties and to advertise their services. Social media channels are many and their number is increasing every month. However, the platforms of social media that are most appreciated and successful are Facebook and Twitter and it is not a surprise that these two channels are the ones that are mostly used.
Facebook social media allows the realtors to create fan pages of their business, to get followers and likes and to post advertisements on the Real Estate properties and the professional services they offer. The Twitter accounts allow for short posts of just 140 symbols, however if managed by talented Realtors who have some knowledge on content writing, these posts could be very interesting and could provoke the interest of the investors. Another very popular social media channel are the blogs. The blogs allow for more creativity and resemble online journals, which could be quite influential if the person who writes the blog is talented. Another manner in which the realtors can advertise the properties they have been hired to sell is the YouTube, where the Real Estate Agents can upload video clips of the properties. There are other websites that could be used by the Realtors for promoting the properties, sharing information about them.
The advantages of the marketing through the social media are many, but the most important one is that the usage of these channels is not expensive and sometimes it is absolutely free of charge. Of course there are also advertisements that could be placed on these social media sites that charge on the number of clicks they get. Social media is attractive to the realtors as it allows for many people to get access to the information in a very short period of time. Realtors should know that the accounts in the social media should be updated on a frequent basis, otherwise they send the opposite message – that the business is not taken care of just as the accounts are not taken care of.
